Mameesh: crossing of 53 vessels of tonnages 3.5 million ton

Vice admiral/ Mohab Mameesh, head of Suez Canal authority that the Canal has witnessed passage of 53 vessel of tonnages 3.5 million ton container vessels from both directions.

An official report from the authority revealed that north convoy has witnessed passage of 27 vessl of tonnage 2 million, 200 thousand ton and that biggest of which was of the container vessel AL EAHNA flying Malta flag coming from France and directed to UAE.

26 vessels have also crossed from southern direction (New Canal) of tonnage one million , 500 thousand ton , and that biggest tonnage was of Denmark container vessel MORTEN MAERSK coming from Malaysia towards Netherlands.
